Used for drawing copper wires in the intermediate and fine wire drawing. Furthermore, Multidraw CU SF
is suitable for nickel-plated and silver-plated copper wires. Especially when drawing nickel-plated wires
the product offers an outstanding machine cleanliness.
Due to special additives, Multidraw CU SF is also suitable for inline and multi-wire drawing machines.
The recommended operating temperature of the emulsion is between 35 °C and 40 °C.
Filtration: Practicable with all current paper belt filters.
Fine drawing: 2 %
Intermediate drawing: 4 - 8 %
a) Determination of the part of the water-miscible cooling lubricants separable with acid
according to DIN 51 368 (testing apparatus for drilling oil, separation by hydro-chloric acid)
b) with refractometer: Factor 1.8
The concentrate dissolves very quickly to a clear solution when continuously pouring it into water (temperature between +10 and +35 °C) under stirring. We recommend using demineralized water.
