Multidraw CU MF is a high-performance copper wire drawing lubricant specifically designed for medium and fine wire drawing processes. It is suitable for drawing wire diameters as small as 0.07 mm. Multidraw CU MF is optimized for the medium and fine wire drawing ranges, capable of handling wire diameters down to 0.07 mm. This makes it an ideal choice for applications requiring high precision and fine wires.
Multidraw CU MF is primarily used on bare copper wires, but it is also suitable for tinned wires. It offers excellent performance and ensures outstanding wire surfaces.
One of the key strengths of Multidraw CU MF is its ability to maintain the cleanliness of both the drawn wire and the drawing machines. It effectively reduces the buildup of residues and contaminants, contributing to cleaner wire surfaces and less frequent machine maintenance.
Multidraw CU MF offers an extended emulsion lifespan, which reduces the need for frequent changes, thus lowering operational costs and enhancing overall process efficiency.
The product delivers superior lubrication properties, what results in a smoother wire surface, reduced tool wear, and improved overall performance of the drawing operation.
The recommended operating temperature of the emulsion is between 35 °C and 40 °C.
Filtration: Practicable with all current paper belt filters.
Intermediate drawing: 4 - 8 %
Fine drawing: 2 - 5 %
a) Determination of the part of the water-miscible cooling lubricants separable with acid according to
DIN 51 368 (testing apparatus for drilling oil, separation by hydro-chloric acid).
b) with refractometer: Factor 1.0
The concentrate dissolves to a stable emulsion by pouring it continuously into water (temperature
range approx. +10 °C to approx. +35 °C) and by stirring.
